Influences: Contemporary and traditional folk music; Folk-rock & Americana; Great American Songbook & old Broadway; Irish trad. And a whole bunch of other stuff.
UPDATE: 2/28/22: Despite the health challenges that slowed me down this year, it’s been wonderful! Looking forward to March listening month and to FAWM 2023.
Feeling subdued & worn down this year, but still very happy to be back among the FAWM community.
This is my 7th FAWM (I started in 2015, but had to miss 2019 due to family obligations). I don’t have an exact year-by-year count, but I’ve always posted at least 14 solo efforts plus a few collaborations.
I’m an old folkie. Although I’ll use a few virtual instruments from time to time, I’ll primarily be recording with guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and ukulele.

Subscibed to your youtube as well.
Thank you for the kind words about my piece "Pleasant Dream Turned to Crap" I appreciate them.
Thanks so much for your kind comments on several of my songs! I really appreciate knowing how my songs (and which parts) strike people. Ah Moab...I've probably been 5+ times... last in 2018. I met Cosy on the East Coast and I still think of her as one of the best songwriting teachers I've met. I thought her camp sounded great...and it has been! It's a bit far for me to go but I still might attend sometime in the future. Well, thanks again for listening to some of my songs!
Thanks so much for listening to my songs and responding. I loved your idea about doing a four part Southern Gospel rendition of my Eight Day Meeting song. I was so surprised and delighted that that one came pouring out of a skirmish. Maybe for next FAWM or for 50/90 I'll see if I can do some more family story gospel songs. I love the songs of yours I've heard and look forward to hearing more.
Thank you so much Sharon for your kind comments and for collaborating with Kristi and me.

Have fun morphing!
:)
Thanks for the listen and comment on 'Selfish' (yes, it was noticed when you disappeared from FB!)
Hi Sharon, thank you so much for your beautiful vocal melody and vocals for "In The Silence". So sorry for the limit of the collaborators for FAWM postings.
you weren't able to be added to the collab with Nadia and Kristi but I just wanted to leave you a note in case you miss my comment/appreciation. Really awesome work all three of you! Salve for my battered ears :)
I'm not especially generous, you just write good songs.
Thanks for your kind comments on I Don't Want to Talk. You had me stumped on the DADGAD, but I figured it out. I should go practice my guitar now ;)
Thanks for giving some of my songs a listen and for your generous comments. I'm here to repay the compliment.
Thanks for your kind comments on "We Don't Have a Clue"!
Of course!
Thanks for the song comments! Including the 3 songs from FAWM this year, I have 9 songs done for the rock opera, so a long way to go yet! I'll probably release another solo album or original songs before the rock opera is anywhere near ready.
IF you do, collab with lyricsfirstcorpse please - makes it cleaner for all.
Thanks for the listens and comments on 'Molly Bloom' and 'Two for the Road'.
Hey Scubed,
Thank you for taking a listen to Love thru a broken Heart and sharing so honestly. Its not easy walkin' around in our tender boots. Sending you a big old hug. :0)

Thank you for your kind comment on "Clear", Sharon. I really appreciate you giving it a spin. :)
Thanks and is sure live you to one of them! I hope you heal well.
Thanks for the lovely comment on "Dustbowl" :)

Joann just asked to do this one, but you can too, or I'll write another. :)
Not sure if you'd like this, but I just wrote it. https://fawm.org/songs/127088/
Thanks for your nice comments and Tammy is doing the one you like. I have another though:)
Thanks for the listen and comment on my new rock opera song!

So good to see you around, Sharon! Happy FAWMing!
Hi Sharon - don't feel subdued; let the music do its thing and carry you away to your happy place. Happy FAWMing!
Hi Sharon,
Lay some of that "old folkie" goodness on us! I will try to do the same. Happy FAWM!!
Hey Sharon!
Happy FAWMing to you as well! I'm looking forward to sharing this space with you. :-)
Hi Sharon. Good to see you back for another year.
Yes, let's do this FAWM thing!!
Thank you Sharon, looking forward to hearing your songs and collaborations. Happy Fawm.
Happy FAWM 2022, Sharon! Was worried when you disappeared from FB!
Hi Sharon. :-)
Good to see you here again.
Hi! I was wondering what happened! Glad you are here!
I look to FAWM to restore some sanity in an increasingly insane world. Also worn down! I empathise!
That's OK; I made the mistake of putting it in the 'Games' section. Realized it probably didn't belong there as soon as I hit the button. Oh well. Anyway, viva la FAWMerick!
Yes, hope to hear some more of your always beautiful songs!
Hello!! You disappeared from FB and Cindy and I have been worried, hope all is well!! Glad to see you at FAWM!!
