Influences: Talking Heads, New Pornographers, 80s and Lo-fi everything, Buddhism, Casio, Korg, Neil Young, Peaking Lights, High Places, Smiths, Yo La Tengo, Tom Tom Club, Guided By Voices, Bjork, Daruma, Zen.
We are Holly @lanasolyluna (She/Her) and Tomo (He/Him) = Santa Dharma. We're back for 2022! Last year we released our first full-length album, full of many songs we wrote during previous FAWMs. Now we're trying to decide what to release next and what direction to go in...last year went by so quickly, it felt like a weird dream. We did a lot of streaming, but not nearly enough songwriting and recordings. Hopefully that will change this year.
Three of our friends are trying FAWM for the first time: @thefatangel @nwnrml @angstbang ! Watchlist them and give them a warm welcome!
If you don't already know us, we like to make music with old Casios/various synth and strings (fuzzy ukulele, bass, lapsteel). We dig a lo-fi aesthetic and we often play around with live looping.

The Rectal Anarchy is a Buzz Machine (native instrument plugin for Jeskola Buzz) that's a polyphonic synth based on human voice sounds. Here's a little bit more about it, if you're interested: https://buzz.robotplanet.dk/machineinfo.php?id=7611 I've used it a number of times over the years for FAWM songs & the name grabs peoples attentions, for obvious reasons, I guess LOL.

#Slothcore is a new genre invented by fellow member @Candle.
Super slow, lots of distortion, and some pauses "for naps".
