Just finished reading the article about King Crimson you linked me. Indeed, I do think it's good!
I appreciate your comment on Black (about nailing the King Crimson vibe)!
I recall meeting you for the first time when you commented on my cover of In the Court of the Crimson King back in 2019 (you commented on the songs from side 2), so there you go!
Thanks for your nice comment on Bound to wander! Amazing jazz/blues sound here!
I love autoharp and I love minor sevenths, so nevermind that you have to buy felt for the chord bars and cut your own, I think it's totally worth it.
Thanks for taking the time to comment on"End of the World Pt2" - I appreciate the kind words!
Thanks for the comment on "Dance of the Desert Sand"! I'm still not sure if I like the song myself but the bass sound was indeed what brought the whole thing about.
Thanks for your thoughtful comments on Open Up the Window :)
Thanks for your kind words on “The. Sun is Here”. Much appreciated!
Thanks so much for your kind comments on the electric car song and the video collab!
Thanks for the listen and comments on I Reckon My Time Has Come. Harmonica is kind of a new thing for me, really appreciate the feedback
Thanks for you nice comments on Its’a Not Too Late. I appreciate your taking the time to stop by and listen.
Thanks for the listen and comment on 'We Don't Have a Clue'!
Thank you for your comments on 'all the same.' To be honest, I wrote so many, I had to stop and think, now which one was that? You wrote a boatload yourself.
I haven't explored Garage Band enough. I see. I love the classic 1960s feel that a Hammond instantly gives to a recording.
Glad you liked my "Furry Felines" - I was particularly pleased with the names for the band members, especially Paco Pasteurised (Jaco Pastorius) :-)
Thank you for the kind words on my song "Declaration!"
Hey Roddy....that is amazing what you did with the song. That bridge is so edgy and perfect for the lyric. So cool to hear your funky self. You are always adding to your arsenal .
It is so original. Thank you. Fun to do collab with you after so long
Wow!!! Thank you!!! They are both fantastic!!! What great music!!!!!
Awesome!
Thanks for the feedback on my keys for tge 4 video. I also really liked guitar abd chords and tight playing ( I think I said this already but bares being repeated). Fun was had!!!
Great Roddy...I knew you were the man for the job. Put it up as new demo or no one with hear it!
Thanks for comments on my song.
I just put one up and was thinking about you for it. Didn't know if you had time to eke out another....but you were the first person I thought of.
It's called If Ya Got It Use It. I just posted it
Your guitar was very inspiring - the words wrote themselves! Felt like I was channeling my inner "Corrs" LOL Thank you - it was the best collab ever!
I would LOVE that
Okay. Thanks!
Thanks for de-zonging That Thing's Gonna Blow. If I wrote how it really affects the locals it would be a sad sad blues song. Lives and livelihoods severely disrupted.
Thanks for your nice comment about my ‘not a haiku’
Great! Can't wait to hear it!
Wondered if you'd be interested?
They played for me
thank you very much for comment "Under the Sahara sand" :D
Thank you, this is perfect!!! I'll let you know when it's done and I figure out how to go about listing you as a collaborator.
Hi Roddy! I'd love it if you'd play Tiny Cowboy 2 in my silly sketch. If you can record with minimal background noise would be great but it's all for fun so don't go too far out of your way. Just leave a couple seconds between lines so I can puzzle them together. Thanks!
Thanks Roddy. I am having a blast playing with this GarageBand app. People told me it was idiot proof, but it took me a year to make anything, and then take it from an iPad and send it somewhere. But now I can play.
Thanks Roddy, good to be back. :)
Thank you so much for coming to listen, and your lovely comment! I appreciate your outsized commitment to tiny instruments so far this FAWM - love the ukulele rep!
Hi Roddy. :-)
I've put you in the first slot for instrumental corpse Echo. :-)
No lyrics here, but I listened to your bandcamp and know you are a true Scot...and I like your jazz. Good luck wit them Aussies
Hihi! we're all back, gasping and wheezing through our masks! (hey wait, that's old age in my case...) (on which topic, I can get "Niel" edited to "Neil" in that post if you want. But it has a certain eyecatching charm as it is.! :D )
Hey Roddy! I hope that you have a great FAWM! I saw that you worked in a library in Edinburgh…is that where you live? I LOVE that city so much. Been many times and even “lived “ there for a couple of months during the festival to work odd jobs, which was great because I was having trouble getting my money from the US. I’m smitten with Scotland in general and there are certainly so many different areas and regions. Best wishes to you!
Hey Roddy, thanks for responding to my call for radio guests. Unfortunately due to the large response, I already have enough participants and don't think I'll have time to fit any more this time around, sorry (Which is sad, I would have loved to interview you!). If some of the interviews fall through or the time I have available increases I will get in touch though!
Cheers, and Happy FAWM - I hope you have a great one,
Tabitha
Your. Sonnet. Is. AWESOME.
Cheers, I hope you have cracking good FAWM
Thank you for the greeting. Very nice to see you as well. Looking forward to your instrumental songs.
Hi Roddy, good luck, enjoy.
