Influences: Beatles; Tom Petty; Led Zeppelin; Chicago; U2; The Who; R.E.M. The Rubinoos; Steve Earle; Lyle Lovett; Jerry Reed, Tom Lehrer, Ray Stevens. And, of course, Robyn Mackenzie.
My first musical memory is of a yellow vinyl disk of Roy Rogers singing Daniel the Cocker Spaniel - and playing it OVER and OVER and OVER. . . . . It was all downhill after that. Played trumpet in school from age 10 through college, picked up the drums in high school and the guitar some time after that. I've played in cover and original rock and country bands ever since. I write a song or two now and then. Maybe I can make some FAWM-worthy ones too.
