Hi, I’m Robyn (she/her) and this is my 13th year of FAWMing. Holy crap.
Sometimes I write angsty indie ballads. Sometimes I write ukulele jingles about snot. Until 2018, I worked with the beautiful artists over at @vsaredfish,and had 5 wonderful FAWMs with them. You can still check out the music we made together at https://soundcloud.com/vsa-red-fish-studios
On collaborations: I'm not sure how much time I am going to have to FAWM this year as I am no longer working from home and I'm working on several projects at once, including a few collabs I haven't finished yet. Feel free to ask, just know I may not be able to finish within the month.

I'm a fan of yours. Funny you read my most 'out there' lyric tonight. Not my favorite but fit the prompt and was fun to write. I can't imagine this as a song, but then again "I'm Sexy and I Know it" -lol

Yes since I joined in 2014 our region has been totally open and welcoming to people who live elsewhere or are members of other regions on the main website to join in the chat fun and online activities. Reason I keep going back is they also are totally supportive of me doing NaNo as a rebel songwriter. I will email you an invite!

Thanks for the comment on "Cloaked in the Fairest Melody"! That juxtaposition of grit and eloquence is basically what I've based my entire career, such as it is, as a death/doom metal musician and songwriter on, inspired by the early 90s output of the British big three: Anathema, My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost. In the FAWM context, I don't seem to do songs such as this one that often, perhaps mostly due to how long they tend to get and conversely how long they take to write and record.

Thanks Robyn. I don’t play my banjo very much anymore. It is a heavy instrument and managing it seems to offer my back some pain. So short songs will be the banjo norm for me.
