Hi. My name is Dan, I'm from Auckland, and I write and record songs under the names Anecdata / Dharma Police / Planet Claire.
Not sure how much I'll be able to do this year - started a new job so don't have annual leave, plus the pandemic means the house is almost never unoccupied... so we'll see how we go. Might be my first fail in 13 attempts!
-----
Anecdata is for rock/new wave-inspired stuff. http://koshrecords.net/anecdata/
Dharma Police is retro-inspired synthpop, with lyrical themes often heavily leaning on the best TV show of all time, Lost. http://koshrecords.net/dharmapolice/
Planet Claire is instrumental electronic noodlings and other bits and bobs. Minus my voice. http://koshrecords.net/planetclaire/
Downloads etc at my website, http://koshrecords.net
Namaste!

Yeah, you know... bring it down to a reasonable 6 minutes. ;)
The big muff pi sounds cool. I used to have the one with tone wicker and never used it, so I sold it. Have only very recently got back into using a pedal with my modeling amp and now I would explore that muff if I still had it. Haha. The irony.
Rivers Rules.
Brilliant, thanks for the effects talk. I've never heard of the big, sexy plug in before - I'll be tempted to try out the free trial or whatever. I'll give it a look later. It is hard to justify buying another virtual effects pedal... though of course virtual instruments and effects do have the virtue of not being obvious to my family when I buy them.... Thanks!
Dan, loved all your stuff last time out, especially your production! Keep rocking my man
Hello, and welcome back to another FAWM! I'm looking forward to listening to your songs again this years, whichever of your three band "identities" they may fall under (or maybe under an all new identity! :) ).
