Yes, I've definitely seen those glass slides (the guitarist in my band had one once, and it broke spectacularly all over everything). I'll keep my eye out.

Hey...thanks for the comment re. the weird harp music! The "slide" technique is one I learned from my teacher, who generally uses a tuning key when she does it. I've also managed it with a metal chopstick. A guitar slide would be ideal if there were more space between the strings; as it is, it doesn't quite fit, and the slide technique is harder to achieve if you don't go between the strings. But if I get my hands on a guitar slide at some point, I'll experiment with using it flat against the strings instead of between them and see what happens. You never know until you try.

Thanks. Rhthym is so important and I love unexpected change. Sometimes I throw in an extra measure or beat, or slow down, which coincides with the lyrics. Friction, or when magnet repels, we often feel uneasy always wanting things predictable, the same, according to belief....lol
