Influences:   I've never quite been able to tell who my influences really are. Certainly filkers in general.

I teach astronomy at a community college for a living.

I started playing the mountain dulcimer as a teenager in the 1970's. I have been part of the filk community since 2003, and learned to play the ukulele in 2006--which turned me into a songwriter.
