Influences: Absolutely everything in the natural world and, lately, stories about space exploration. I just found out that the sun travels 93 million miles A WEEK!! And its orbit around our galaxy takes 220 million YEARS!!! Who needs science fiction?? The Kinks, Beatles, John Martyn, Jethro Tull, Joni Mitchell, early Traffic, the Cream, Great American songbook, Janis Ian, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Cockburn, Dylan, various other musicians and writers I've met along the road.....
As if I needed yet another instrument I bought a trumpet before Christmas and play it in the back garden. Can't play a scale yet but it sure keeps the squirrels off the bird-feeders.
Bop 'til you drop, fellow Fawmers.

Pearse. I'm sorry to hear of your losses over the past three years. I'm glad that you're on the mend, but am aware working through grief is like peeling the layers of an onion. It's good to hear you're enjoying your new sax. My brother played sax. Despite many efforts, I could coax nothing but flatulent sounds out of the thing!
I'm looking forward to hearing the songs you're working on. Also, thanks for listening and commenting on some more of my songs.
Pearse, so glad to hear from you. I've missed you the past few years. I don't know if It was a case of looking for Pearse in all the wrong places, (sorry, couldn't help myself) or if you took a sabbatical from FAWMing. Anyway... Great to hear from you and thanks for listening and for the kind comments.
That was easily one of the best comments I've ever gotten on a song, and it was a much needed laugh. Thank you!
Awesome, Pearse! Tweak as needed. :)
Happy “Crazy 4/4 (For) You" Day!!
<3
Hope to hear you again this year, Pearse.
Thanks for the positive feedback on my song "Opening Hymn"! Looking forward to hearing some of your tunes ~ maybe the one you use to chase away the squirrels...?
California didn't work out so I'm holed up in a cold white room with a view of an alley for this year's FAWM. I'll stop by to hear what you make, and wishing you a better year this year than last!
Happy to see you here, my friend! Have a great FAWM! :D
My condolences Pearce, so good to see you back and on board.
Well said on the news and welcome back. Can't wait to hear your output and bring it on i say
Hello friend, I do hope you will unleash your creative soul.
Hello everybody, so glad it's a new year....... I didn't have any inspiration lately until I realised it was because I was becoming flattened by reading the disgusting political news, in every country.
So I stopped watching and within a day or two I was noodling on the piano again and loving it.
|I'm dying to hear some of your new songs my dear fellow Fawmers....
to your music, one and all.
