Thank you so much to everyone who is listening to my music, reading my lyrics, sharing your thoughts and ideas. I'm very grateful to you for your comments, suggestions and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your sharing with me your experience and your perception of what you hear / feel about my entries.
I love collaborating. Please let me know before you decide to add your lyrics/vocals, in case I already have my submission as an agreed collaboration. Let's discuss what each of us is happy with. I believe communication is the key.

If you would like to have some ideas of my style and the way I record my music please feel free to get in touch if you would like to create something together.
A little bit of negativity:
I don't play to a click track
My tempo is not strict
I don't work with midi files
I can't use headphones for adding to the recorded music due to my setup and other reasons.
For collaborations to work out please see if you are happy to go with my piano/instrumental track and add your instrument/s, vocals, lyrics.
On the positive side, I had many amazing collaborations so starting from my piece and adding other parts works beautifully when it is okay for my collaborators to go with my music as a starting point.

Really like that piece you put on the forums it has a great flow to it... downloaded it and I can add something in the next day or so... probably some slight percussion... at least that's where I'm leaning now after a listen.

Thanks! I'll write down your contact data and get back to you when I have something. I'll pause on composition for some months and dive super deep into production instead.
Working without click or constant timing drum set is VERY hard for me. I need this grid to arrange and correct vocals. My timing in instrumental playing is VERY bad so I have to quantisize and analyse the wav forms and midi blobs on the screen. My ears do not hear when anything is some ms in advance or behind. I'm trying to train this by practising guitar with a metronome every two days but I'm still speeding up and ignoring the clock xD So I can relate to what you say. -

Thanks a lot Nadia! I'll keep that in mind when I write a song that needs a strong piano :) I was full of rage and anger in the past weeks so I ended up writing more and heavier metal songs than I expected.
How open are you about styles and arrangements? I noticed you're into rather sparse and slow songs but my focus is full band. It's quite hard for me to write something that only needs 1-2 instruments but it's a great challenge for next FAWM. -

I only wish I would have had a music teacher like you! You're a very nurturing friend, Nadia. You help me with my daughter too--she was complaining about practicing scales on "Saxy" the other day and I set the timer for 15 minutes each day so she can build up to a stronger practice.

Nadia, I was so deeply sorry to read of your losses.
I hope that you (and your son) are moving steadily forward in the grieving process. I have no doubt at all that music has been a great solace to you. I know that FAWM and 50-90 2020 were lifesavers for me after my own losses (a daughter and a sister). I poured so much grief into my lyrics.

Hi Nadia, so good to have you back and joining in. One of the bad outcomes of the miseries of the last two years is failing to follow and losing contact with friends and colleagues in the overwhelming local personal stuff. And although I listen to my subscriptions, I haven't been taking a whole lot of notice until I was reading the thread @nuj4x started. So belatedly, but really: I am so, so sad for you and your loss. There's so little one can say or do, other than just "being there" in a virtual sense. But it's still real.
We should do another collab this year. It's been a long time. -
