Considering focusing on 90 word songs… Crazy, right?
mmm what to say. Silence is golden. I am doing my first FAWM without having to drive kids to school this year... We'll see if that makes a difference.
Planning to do piano doodles, finish Tao Te Ching and do some music production. When you see my procrastinator in the streets.... send it home: there is work to do, penciles to sharpen etc. etc. etc.
I am focusing on Music Licensing this year but it has been hard: my creator doesn't like being told what to do and write...
March 2022 update.
I have discovered that even 85 words are too many to sing a song right.
I made some cookie cutter shapes in logic and grabbed a generic drummer and had fun using (or not) the arpeggiator. I actually discovered it is much more fun to play four chords and then just freaken loop them... WHo knew. TO me a piano player this is absolute cheating.... but I had fun, discovered new effects and toys I normally don't play with because I tend to take songwriting very seriously.... SO I have a bunch of uglies and a new favorite song: I think its going to need a rasta beat in the future: Where did February go?
And I tried stick to one emotion: it really helps if you make the song shorter to not be able to write more: it's like Logic jail for songs....
