Influences: Favourites would be Radiohead, Portishead, Gotye, The Doors, Hey Rosetta!, Nick Cave, Gorillaz, Cat Empire, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Pendulum, Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Johnny Cash, Queens of the Stone Age, the Cure, the Saints, White Stripes, Xavier Rudd, Hilltop Hoods, The Church, Sting, the Ramones, Stray Cats, the Police, the Eels, Everlast, Epicure, the Postal Service, Prodigy, the Cruel Sea, Apollo 440, Bloodhound Gang, Nancy Sinatra, Sigur Ros and probably many more that I can't think of off the top of my head. I may be a little musically schizophrenic as a result :) ...and I'm still trying to work out which ones are coming through in my work ;)
I first picked up a ukulele in July 2010 with my first song emerging from the recesses of my brain in November of that same year. Since then I have written a lot of songs, in no small part due to my friend kiwafruit introducing me to 50/90 about 10 years ago.
I’m currently recording my second solo album and since I am starting late, I'm not expecting to make the 14.5 song target for FAWM as I have a fair bit on my plate at the moment. So the upshot is my presence on here will be sporadic...still looking forward to it though!
Happy FAWMing everyone! :)

Life, as always, has been complex! But I'm still here. Retired (!), sold a house, bought a house, made a couple albums, joined and quit a couple bands. It is really lovely to see you here, even in a somewhat limited capacity.
That is beautiful Jane. I love it. Is it ok if I put a copy in my fawm folder so it streams inline? Thank you the mostest :)
Post Modem love is yours :) I will add you as collab.
Jane!!!! So good to see you here.
