    Hi Rick,
just a note to say the music is finally up for my silly LOVE song.

My album writing is complete except for the few songs where I may post musical demos next week, I am grateful to have heard from so many skilled, insightful, and energetic writers during the month.

Thanks for your comments on Is This a Dream (skirmish). I love that it feels like a riddle. I was hoping that was cleared up at the end. Maybe it wasn't clear as I hoped. The character is the ghost. He finds his way to his own home and finds his wife (previously dead) waiting for him inside and they are reunited in the afterlife. That was the concept anyway :)

Thank you for commenting on 10 x 10! It was fun!

It doesn’t look like I will meet the Week 2 One Note Melody challenge during FAWM, but I can recommend my song “Ace Two Three Four Five” from two weeks ago. In that song the title is sung as a single note. https://youtu.be/4qBL1WqY5Ag

Actually, my point of view never gets lost. Some people are unable to find it, but that's fine. I'm not responsible for handing out directions.

Read your comments on Mixed Messages and it seems you had different expectations of what my song should be as opposed to what I wanted to write, as well as a very different interpretation of the narrator's character. She is absolutely defiant, but the purpose of this write was to illustrate the constant barrage of controlling commentary women receive from the cradle to the grave. Of course, that nearly impossible to comprehend unless one is on the receiving end. Since you're interested in hearing a louder voice of dissent regarding living up to others' expectations, this may suit your fancy: https://fawm.org/songs/125797/

Thanks for your comment on "Inner Demon". Guess I just let him out and growl his way through the subconscious. I used a MIDI for the drums, otherwise I would not be able to do everything in an hour.

  • @nateger  Feb 2022

Thanks for the kind words on my tune! Definitely was exploring the mad scientist side of me haha

  • @berni1954  Feb 2022

Glad you liked my "Values". Yeah, pity so many people these days seem to follow "all you need is hate" as their philosophy.

  • @hmstreetteam  Feb 2022

    The album cover.

  • @jessi14 Feb 2022

I love that "Path of least resistance" is your theme. I am looking forward to some fun tunes! Apparently the path of least resistance is full of good times:-)

  • @caitlin Jan 2022

Sending you a wave from the Philly burbs. Looking forward to your path of least resistance!

  • @hmstreetteam  Jan 2022

Path of least resistance is my theme and album title this year.
