Hey FAWMers! I'm Dave, currently from a couple places in Delaware. I've been writing a song or two every year for ages, and even occasionally getting through a dozen other activities to actually record and product them. Occasionally.... you can see some of this in various states of finish on YouTube and SoundCloud.
I had made plans several times to do FAWM... I usually discover it's about March 1 when I plan to dig my heels in and start. Somehow things worked out better this year.
I do songwriting first, then create the music, using computers, guitars, harmonicas, drums, maybe a riff or two on a keyboard, and my voice. I come from a musical family, but I was the guy who never got lessons as a kid. But I did learn to record everyone else's stuff. Last year I mostly finished a small studio space in my backyard man-cave/he-shed, which is one of the keys to productivity: finally a place I can make noise in the early hours.
