Wow... thanks so much for your kind comments on My Late Winter Heart. Liz's lyrics just sing off the page. I am grateful to have been able to collaborate with her.
Thanks for comments on Rounding the Cape, much appreciated. Cheers Greg
I like Ominously peaceful :-) I think it's allowed :-)
Hey there, thanks so much for your comments on "Life on the Freeway," especially, "a melody that helps us feel the highs and the lows." The ultimate compliment in my book :-)
Thanks for the nice comment. I noticed that spot too (I’m just a spectator on my own songs). I think I’m singing an E over that F#m chord, making it a minor 7 chord. I discovered this when I was trying to work out the harmony part and it just was not working…
I had to pop in and say thanks so much for listening and your amazing comments! Super inspiring and helpful :)
Haha, yes a recommendation from me is worth at least…. two… perhaps even three extra listeners. I am officially a FAWM influencer ;)
You're welcome. My comments are straight from the heart. I'm not a pro, but I worked with some professional unprocessed vocal stems doing remixes etc. You cannot believe that some (former) top 40 artists sing worse than me and some layer plenty of takes. This way I learned, that emotion and tone is more important than hitting the pitch or being able to control loudness and vibrato. You have these capabilities and you're even able to layer and do ad libs. I see lots of potential here. But well, the empty house is definately an argument xD I'll listen to more of your stuff next week.
Hey there's no shame in borrowing. We all do it consciously or subconsciously, but the end result is always something unique. And that track is not only absolutely its own thing - it's absolutely terrific too!
Dude your new song “God Damn, I feel better” is just ridiculous. Maybe the slickest R & B song I’ve ever heard on FAWM. Really impressed with your skills and your voice is killer.
Thank you for the comment on my song! I'm finally starting to catch up on FAWM stuff and am excited to hear your stuff :)
Cheers heaps for your wonderful comment . Was a bit unsure of the mix which may well be refiddled with . Much gratitude to you
Power Pop BW was (as you guessed) a quick write but a fairly slow recording process - when I realised I'd bitten off way more than I could chew :) and had to strip off loads of harmony guitars that hadn't worked
Thanks for your comments on my tunes!
Ahhh. What era? Cold War? Soviet?
Thanks man that's really sweet of you to listen to my stuff. having a listen to your now !!
Hello! Thanks for the nice words about my "Who's shaking the jar?" song. Honestly it wouldn't be half the song it became without Zecoop's drums. I found it easy to work around, and be led by, his groove. It took away a couple of huge obstacles for me - not having to create some sterile programmed drums and not having to think up a strong structure - it was all there already :)
Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and your kind comments on Lost in Space. And listening to your contributions that's quite the compliment. You have a damn amazing voice.
Haha, well I liked those vocals anyway, so there ;)
(thanks for the heads up on the dodgy upload! Fixing it now)
No one should know how the sausage gets made eh? But the neighbours always will...
Listened to Southbound Train. And now I, too, am crying. So thanks for that ;)
Haha! Not sure about the neighbours tapping along.... more like screaming at me to shut the f**k up. These people just don't understand ART!
Thanks for the comment mate, made me chuckle!
Thank you for your kind comment! Happy FAWM!
Happy FAWMing!! Welcome! :)
