Influences: Old county, old jazz, Old anyone. Also not so old, mature, middle age, and youth. Love fingerpicking, the struggle with lead playing, and the Key of G.
Nathan Spears:
A Philadelphia based singer-songwriter who has been entertaining for over forty years. Nathan was born in Porterdale, Ga and raised on the shores of Lake Erie. His vocal style seems to be a mix of early Elvis Presley intertwined with John Prine. This folksy country blend suits his baritone vocals and lends an easy listening relaxation to his original and cover songs. He is currently a member of PASA (Philadelphia Area Songwriters Association).
Proud member of The Pour Rabbits since 2004.
Always striving to improve his style and technique Nathan believes it is an artist’s responsibility to continue to evolve. He is currently studying theory with Pete Smyser. Pete is an exceptional talent in the field of solo guitar playing and especially accomplished in Jazz and Classical guitar. He has been the guiding influence in the instrumental part of Nathan's musical education. www.smyser.com

My dear Nathan! I have already sent you an email... Once again, thanks soooooo much for this GORGEOUS country-song that you have created here, and also many, many compliments to the awesome band, I love how it turned out, and it is such a pleasure to listen to it!
Hey Nathan! Thanks a lot for your kind comment on the cowboy-lyrics and for being willing to give them a try! I am already very excited! :-)
Hi there! Thanks for listening, and leaving such a nice comment!
Good to see you again!
Thanks, Nathan, for your comments on my lab monkey song. I guess we have an entire long playing album’s worth of lab human songs from these past few years!
Hope you have a great FAWM!
Happy FAWM 2022! Hope all is well!
