Influences: Stevie Nicks, Florence + the Machine, Bat for Lashes, Bjork, you seeing a pattern yet?
Hey, I'm from near Glasgow.
Third-timer, still very amateur. But I loves me some song writing, especially about visceral subject matter. I find it hard to stick to one genre, but I am trying for singer-songwriter type stuff this year, perhaps a hint of folk and country, but with rock roots. Wish me luck!

Awesome! See you back next year!. In July if you'd like to do some writing during 50/90. It goes on all summer, with no pressure, so one can drift in and out over a 3 month period. Cheers.

Hey There!
I don't know if you're checking in here and you didn't leave me any email contact that I could see but I just wanted to tell you I've been really enjoying your songs your creativity and exploration into songwriting. Keep going. You sound great and I really like your stuff. Come back next year please and leave some contact info for us!
Nice to have virtually met you - on the guitar plug in thing, I think I'll stick to the old-fashioned way, but it does sound convincing!
Hi,
Thanks for your comments on my No Fly Zone (Don't Love You Anymore) lyrics. Yes, I can totally imagine it sung as a duet between Meat Loaf and Cher now that you've mentioned the late great Meat Loaf! Good as well to see someone else from Scotland on here - I live near Falkirk

Thanks, pal. I guess I just wasn't ready to throw the towel in just yet. And yeah, it ends on a big ta-da!!!! Couldn't help myself.
It's not over yet! We still have about 21 hours until posting closes.
But yes, I will definitely be back next year and look forward to fawming in tandem with you!
Yeah. The Falling song is indeed about one of those tightrope walker dudes, possibly crossed with a David Blaine type sensation-monger. So he falls, and the VP of the song is half-convinced it's all part of the gag. So it's kind of about that moment when your suspension of disbelief, and your hero worship, crash at the same time. I know, it's a lot for a song - this was originally why I switched to writing fiction back in the day.
Hey, gindark, nice to meet you here and thanks for visiting my Kamila song.
Yeah, absolutely. What possible misadventure could start with an artichoke and end in an ambulance???
Hey thanks for your kind comments on my songs! Likewise enjoying your output and looking forward to what you come up with next.
Thanks!
Thank you for your kind comment on "Narluga Love". Someone posted a link to the Smithsonian article/video while I was attending the UK Filk Con on Zoom last weekend, and well....it IS the FAWM! <3 <3
Good set of influences! Looking forward to hearing what you come up with.
Good Luck...
Welcome back, buddy-of-mine! I'm excite for your new things too. Bring it on!
