Influences: My biggest influence is probably Blue Rodeo
I started writng poetry in the 1980's.. soon after I bought my first guitar and started putting my poems to songs. To date I have recorded 3 full length independent CD's, and written many other songs for weddings and charity events.
I am a 58 year old retired OPP communications operator. Married to my husband for 38 years now.
So here I am at my 2nd FAWM, 2022.
I really surprised my self last year submitting 20 songs in 28 days.
I'm not sure I will get that many this year but my goal is to really hone my writing skills.

So this is my 2nd FAWM really looking forward to hearing all the great new songs everyone will come up with. Not sure I will be able to live up to my 20 songs last year but I will make my best effort. I am back working part time so that may interfere a bit with my creativity.
Just glad to be involved again. Good luck to all the amazing song writers. -
