Influences: Folk traditions, medieval music, electronica, and singer-songwriter culture
I decided to start a website to catalog all my demos and it lives here: https://music.mbouchard.com/

Hi, Falconbridge here.
I've sung for as long as I can remember and in countless places - the wilderness, the concert hall, the chapel, the fireside, and even to the rhythm of machines.
For the past decade, my focus has been on historically-inspired melodies and lyrics and folk songs about the same. They're typically unaccompanied or simply adorned with acoustic instrumentation or light soundscapes.
...until recently.
My first FAWM was 2021 and I found the experience to be transformative. When there's only so much time, any muse who knocks gets an invitation to have coffee. I created with a lot less judgment because there just wasn't time. It was incredibly freeing and I enjoyed just *writing and singing* for my pleasure and amusement.
I can now say that I also write songs about space and silliness - and even present them in public when properly motivated apparently.
I can't wait to see where this FAWM leads. I'll be traveling during part of it as well, which will be an added challenge.
It's gunna be great.
And I can't wait to hear what the rest of the FAWM family creates this year too. I'm open to collaborations!
Come on, let's FAWM! <3

@wrenarcher It's really cool to hear how similar things inspire and then how they're alike and different. I would love to, for example, hear a set of all the FAWM pieces about satellites or orbits or stars and love! Could be a pile of neat concept EPs. =)
Thanks for all your listens and support. I’m really happy with my FAWM theme this year and the results. Glad you liked it too!
Hi Monique! Thank you for taking the time to listen to my song, “Planet and Moon”. I really appreciate the kind words and the compliment on the production.
I feel like it could be better and I’m hoping to gather my favorites from this year and last year and rerecord six to seven and make a respectable length EP.
I do appreciate the kind words though. Thank you.
I really, really need to sit down and assemble all the Periodic Table pieces into a website. That's my big fun project for this year.
@metalfoot thank you so much! I am honestly kind of looking forward to March, when I can sit down and have a good listen to everyone's awesome stuff! (I am SO grateful the listen/comment part of this is left open through April. So. Grateful.)
I am sad I am only discovering you at the end of FAWM. Great voice and musical sensibilities!
Thank you for checking out Emergency. I really appreciate you sharing your kind comments. Added a nice boost to my day and I’m glad that you enjoyed it.
@Musicbykatie I sent you an email. Very excited about the collab. It feels like summer in the winter.
Yesss, send over your stuff! i think fawm hates when i type out my email address but its kdwyermusic at gmail dot com. haha! i can send you the mp3 if you need me to :)
I am so looking forward to getting started! Last year was a big stretch and I feel like I'm about to discover what's behind Door Number Three!
