Influences: Many, many, influences. I love rock and metal music, but as I get older my tastes get broader.
I spent a few years trying to learn guitar, but I never quite had a synergy with this instrument. I'm currently learning piano and learning how to read music, so far I am enjoying this journey far more, who knows where it will lead.
Update 17/02/2022. I've posted 9 songs so far, this is a surprise to me. The FAWM journey, even though it has only been short, has taught me much about how I come up with musical ideas. I seem to compose in 40 second chunks and I'm starting to come up with methods to extend this time period. Also, I don't seem to have a fixed genre in which to create. Listening to other people's music on here is definitely the way to go, so many ideas.
Update 24/02/2022
I've completed my 14 songs! A few people have asked a question about what I'm using for instruments and recording.
Every track has been recorded free from computer/DAW, I have a Roland Juno Gi workstation/Synth which has a built in 8-track recorder (you can actually record 64 tracks for multiple takes, but can only play 8 tracks back at a time) , so tracks are recorded and when necessary bounced down to free up more tracks. It is a bit limiting, but also quite liberating. With some tweaking I can some very satisfying sounds out of the Roland.

Thanks for comments! Really appreciate that :)
I understand if you don't feel ready for a collab. But anyway, thanks for the great music, and hope to see you next year :)
All my tracks are purely from the Roland Juno Gi built-in sounds, sometimes tweaked a fair bit. I love the choirs too and ironically I don't alter these much, maybe a bit more reverb but that's about it.
Great work! Here. Are you using a modular synth? Or just some other hardware? Love the choirs you have in some of these
Thanks so much for the kind comment on Licking the Light. I connected with Donna’s fine fine writing! Your comment really made me smile:)
:-D
It's supposed to be a finger being guillotined... ;-)
Welcome to FAWM!!
Awesome! :-)
I almost tried twisting your arm via PM a couple of nights ago!
Now get writing. ;-)
