Influences:   Donald Fagen, Stevie Wonder, Beatles, Miles Davis, '60s and '70s rock.

Jazz, Rock and Pop background. I play keyboards, bass guitar and some flute. I'm learning clarinet and electric guitar. I record with GarageBand. This is my 2nd FAWM.

    Thanks for the kind comments on a couple of my pieces. I appreciate them, and it's nice to find someone else on here who also enjoys creating music with notation software. I bought Abelton Live a few years back, but have yet to learn how to use it. I find it very intimidating. My first few attempts were a bust, but last year, I bought a how-to book that seems to be highly recommended, so it's just a matter of rolling up my sleeves now and getting down to it. I'm in awe of the technical skills so many of the folks on here have, you included. :)

    Thanks so much for your comments on The New Normal Sucks. It was really stylistically out of my comfort zone but I had a lot of fun doing it. And I obviously had a few things to get off my chest vis a vis the pandemic!!! This is also my second FAWM! I hope to spend March doing tons of listening so I'll be back.

    Greetings, Dock. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and for the kind comments on several of my songs. Also thanks for the pointers regarding clipping. It dawned on me after reading your comments that because I mixed it very late & didn't want to disturb anyone, it was entirely on headphones, & closed-back at that. Still, mixing is always my weakest link, particularly balancing the bass frequencies. I truly appreciate All the comments and the generosity of your time.

    Thanks a lot for listening and commenting on "Skyscraper". Maybe we have to ask a psychoanalyst about the real meaning of the lyrics. I just let the dices roll and searched for rhymes. It's been really challenging to write lyrics in an hour... and I still think that writing some serious ones is harder! You should try a skirmish!
