Artist Bio
Influences: Usually I'd cite folk singer songwriters (Sandy Denny, Roy Harper, Nick Drake) as my influences, but as I have been listening to a lot of jazz (Ella and old time trad jazz) and motown lately I'd like to try and write something that swings or is a bit funky! Who knows what will happen! I haven't played much or written any songs for a while so I'm really excited about February!
I did FAWM in 2017 and wrote 13 songs, loved it but have not been able to participate again until last year when I wrote two songs, one for a skirmish, and did a collaboration . I play several instruments to one degree or another but have not layered them up much before. I have invested in a couple of mic stands, a condenser mic and a new version of cubase and am looking forward to the challenges and skirmishes.

Hey! I would like to thank you soooooo much for the wonderful song that you created for "Darling, please call me back", it is absolutely gorgeous! I LOVE the melody, your guitar play is mesmerizing and your voice is so amazing! The harmonies/layered vocals are the icing on the cake... I am very, VERY happy how this song turned out and also thank you so much for sending me the file... I am in love with this song, downloaded it and keep listening to it again and again..

If we are lucky, we might even find a male and a female voice so it could become a real duet until the end of this FAWM... that would be fantastic! Hey Didi, sorry to hear things aren’t going to plan - I’ve written one song so far (week 1 challenge - body part!) and the one I worked on with my songwriting partner is the Fawmvision challenge.
