Influences:   What if the Milk Carton Kids joined Jason Isbell and Josh Ritter, played like the Carter Family, and attempted to write songs like Gershwin, Guy Clark, and Weird Al, while listening to Tom Petty and Lyle Lovett, all the time just secretly wishing to be Randy Newman?

The amazing songwriting teacher Scarlet Keys prodded me until I wrote my first song. The world has been different since then, and I owe a lot to her.

I'm a guitar player and vocalist that enjoys crossing as many genres as possible. It's all fair game.
