Nope, its fine. The general idea is that you write a piece of whatever length, then send the end bit to the next person, so I thought maybe that was just the end bit. But "whatever length" covers the situation, so it's good. I've seen all the assembled pieces, and it looks like a fun song (though with the madmen we have doing music, it's unlikely it's going to sound as pretty as the lyrics suggest).

I really appreciate all your comments on my songs, and also your concern and sympathy for my current situation. I’ll be OK, but right now I have to spend most of my time sitting in a recliner with my left leg on a pile of pillows, which is uncomfortable and unproductive.

What I've been doing for my song titles is drawing a handful of random tiles from a Scrabble set and then using that to inspire the title.
So for you, I have drawn these letters: AEEFFIIRTW
I can see words in there like Water, Fate, Fear, Wire, Fire
Or phrases like "Fair Fite", "Few Are Fit"
Hopefully that gives you a starting point to write from. -

So, I have a tune and arrangement of sorts for Come On Out and Dance with Me. I have made a very rough recording, just vocal and mandolin. It's rather jaunty, and I think it fits the vibe, but of course you're the judge.
