Influences: Grateful Dead, Ween, Phish, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jeff Austin (YMSB), Jack Johnson, Donavon Frankenreiter, ALO
Playing guitar since the 5th grade, first band in the 6th grade.
Ran sound at the (in)famous Pi Lam house in Philly in the early 90s (many musical styles including side projects for members of the Butthole Surfers and the Dead Milkmen).
Played electric bass in 90s in a couple of Jam Bands and a New Grass Band.
Started playing more seriously again in 2015. I've gigged solo and with a couple of local Reno/Tahoe bands.
Recently built a hybrid digital-analog studio with all the gear I've collected over the years. Even when "in-the-box" my recording techniques are more inspired by the 60s and 70s (Glyn Johns, Alan Parsons, Steve Barncard, Betty Cantor-Jackson, Owsley Stanley, Dan Healy).

Thanks, man, for the listen and comment on Razor Blade Tears. Your bio is fascinating. I’ll be checking out your stuff when I’m on headphones later.
I don't know if they were around while you were still in Philly, but I caught one of my favorite live acts from a local band from there once... sadly it was shortly before they broke up in the early/mid 2000's and was probably the only time they were on a countrywide tour. They were the opener for a band I was actually going to see who was the middle act and I had no interest in the headliner, but they blew the doors off the place. The Teeth? did you ever run across them?
Huge fan of the Surfers and the Dead Millkmen... we've probably got some mutual aquaintences :D I used to have one of Joe's old guitars that was given to me from a member of his family... I ended up smashing it once the single pickup it had busted a wire that would of taken a rewounding to fix(was pressed wood and an absolute POS excuse for a guitar) I'm sure he wouldn't of minded LOL.
Yes! I felt the POTUS's on that song as well! Good call!
Hey! There's something special when kids dig your music. Cool to hear your 7 year old enjoyed our song!
Tape #18 ETA is now Tuesday by 9pm. So much for 3-day priority mail.
Hey! Tape # 18 is in the mail. Hopefully there by the end of the week!
Thanks for the comment on Hiihtävä surma! Yeah, I aimed for quite a high contrast between atmospheric neofolk and black metal :)
Thx for comments!
