hey congrats on making it to 14!! I enjoyed hearing your works this month. Great job!
Thank you! I was getting some Sam Raimi vibes coming up haha. I appreciate your kind words on the lyrics :)
Yep, I bounced drums, piano and bass to one track to make room for vocals and guitar, and lost control of the bass.
There IS a whisper track, but NOT on the "whisper" line :D
I'm not sure if the city in "Pretty Close" is the relationship or the actual city either. Classic whispermouse skirmish - "city" rhymes with "pretty" and fit nicely in the line, play up the ambiguity!
Thank you for messaging me about the feast symbol and providing a link to the fawm rules. It was a good refresher.
Hey Chicken Jail, I love your stuff! you are a very solid song crafter! I have a question for you. What does the little clock icon next to all your songs mean? thanks.
I'm looking at your song list and I'm noticing a pattern......
As an ex chicken keeper, I can empathise with your feathered friends :)
Yeah, somehow I wrote a very serious song about a groundhog. I should lighten up
Hah! The sad thing is that pretty much is that guitars "clean" It can get there, but takes some dialing in. I really have to kill the bridge and put the neck on single coil, and even then If the volume is much past two on the guitar its gonna overdrive even a very clean amp.
I've got some scratch if you need bail
Welcome 2 FAWM!
HA! Plenty of ticks for everyone! I'll save ya a bowl!
