Influences: Folk (Peter, Paul & Mary), Julie Andrews, Beatles, Greatful Dead, sea shanties, country, filk
Welcome FAWMers! This is my third year on the FAWM. I've been a singer/songwriter since 1984 with two CDs, Of Shoes and Ships, and Harmony in Practice.
Cecilia Eng has two "eyes" :)
While I primarily perform science fiction/fantasy "filk" songs, I also write folk and performed at the Center Theatre Stage of the Northwest Folklife Festival in 2019 and at the virtual Tumbleweed Music Festival in 2020.
Like many, I'm looking forward to live in-person filk and folk conventions/events and a return to singing together!
So, had dental surgery on February 16, and spent much of the last part of February trying not to throw up painkillers and antibiotics -- sorry. FINALLY got Song#9 recorded and uploaded to the SoundCloud today. Sorry for not being able to listen and comment on more of your FAWMsongs, everyone!

Beautifully said!
"the invisible string" is there to connect us all :) we just have to find ways to feel it. Thank you...
Thanks for "The Lady on the Grey." comments. In the story, her collection is rakes and wastrels preying on young, simple Irish women. …with a side-order of "vile Saxons".
Thanks so much for swinging by to comment on Satellite, it means a lot!
Hey ceilidh! Great to see you back! Have a great FAWM!
Hi @ceilidh so glad to see you here. I posted a demo to Longest Month of the Year, primarily because you asked for it. :)
