Collabs are extremely welcome! Ideally you would want to take our song a bit further than FAWM. If you want to post, share, perform or release the song outside of FAWM, yay! Just ask first, as we probably need to make a couple of changes to perfect the darn thing. Royalties, if applicable, will be an equal split between everyone involved. Now, let's make some magic! :)

I got a YouTube video up for Lip Service. Check it out if you like.
Hi again. I left a comment on your cliché song saying how it would suit a bubblegum song melody. Well, I just watched a great YouTube video on the history of bubblegum music, and I have a newfound respect for it. Yeah, I still think most of it was just silly crap, but there are actually a number of bubblegum songs I really like, like "96 Tears", "Hanky Panky", and "Spirit in the Sky". In case you might be interested, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vz44R5EuL0
Thanks for your comment on my song with Tammy!
Thanks for your comments on Radio Out. Appreciated. I welcome your collab on lyrics/vocals...Thank you.
Thanks for your comment on the criticism thread. I've been reviewer on a newcomer platform some years ago and I was not able to write "you got ko potential" or "you can't sing" though that's been he plain truth. When I joined a professional reviewing platform as musician the comments hit me so hard that I stopped producing music for years. I would never come back if my friend asked me to join FAWM. In my honest opinion it's crucial to see the potential and keep people motivated. Not everybody is interested in a professional career and I don't care about a peer review of a perfectly crafted prog rock song nobody would listen to.
Thanks for listening to and commenting on The Night Cries On My Windshield. Much appreciated.
Hey, just to be clear, absolutely no hard feelings here! I'm actually cool with having a sweet outlaw music bed all ready for me to write some lyrics and topline it! Prolly won't get it done for FAWM but maybe 50/90! Hope you find someone to musicate your lyrics.
I’m working on Grasping at Straws now and feeling pretty good about it. Are you okay with me making a few lyrical changes? I’m happy to send it to you before so you can review any changes.
I was quite pleased with how the song came out but it obviously did not meet your expectations. I have no interest in working on it further after FAWM so I have removed it. Sorry this didn't work out.
Just to explain my logic, I read the first verse as a set of 3 couplets and each couplet rhymed (sort of). Then when I read the second verse, the first couplet "cars" and "Jaguars" rhymed, but the second couplet "day" and "roam" did not, and the third couplet "home" and "way" did not. But a simple rearrangement turned this into 3 couplets each with rhymes.
But I'm not saying my way is better, only that I prefer it.
At this point I cannot commit to working on the song further after FAWM so let's just count this as a FAWM-only collaboration. After FAWM you keep your lyrics to use as you wish and I keep my music to use as I wish.
I can remove the song right away if that is best. There has only been a single comment so no big loss there.
Glad you like it! Since there were only two verses, a chorus and a bridge, I felt the verses sounded better with the same melody. Adding a 4th melody section seems to me to be overly complex for the genre. If you would prefer something different I'm fine with calling this a FAWM-only collab so you can do something different with it later on.
Hey Morten! I managed to finish Diesel in the Blood this afternoon! Ordinarily I would have liked to send this to you first for your review but I figured we are getting close to the end and I decided to take the chance that you will like it and go ahead and post it! I hope you do like it but if for any reason you do not just let me know! Thanks for letting me add music; I enjoyed it quite a lot!
Love the lyrics you sent! Just saw this morning as I have been traveling since Thursday. I will get on it today. Thank you for sending
I'm happy to work on that song you sent, even post FAWM if necessary. Thank you for thinking of me.
We can always post again in the collab area; maybe someone will want to sing on it?
Whoa, that was fast! This is great, thank you! Do you want to send me the wav of the vocal so I can drop in the mix or do you want to post the collab as is? Thank you again!
I like it! Loud and angry, just like I feel! Can you add it?
Go for it! I just wanted to get it out and I think that would work!
No not at all - I love the song, it sounds great, and the folky rock sounds work perfectly with the lyric!!
I was just gonna tell them they could post theirs as well if you were happy for them to do so - but if you prefer to have only our version that’s absolutely fine :)
Woah that was quick! No I love the ‘nick cave-ish’ take, it feels very earthy and atmospheric which suits the lyric perfectly. Also really enjoy that lighter, more airy bridge to reflect the hope in the lyric. The. vocals sound bang on to me too, definitely not s**t ha! Thanks for collabing - more than happy for you to post it :)
Also, I noticed someone else asked if they could collab on the lyric and has started to set them to music. Would you mind if they also did a version? Sorry i was at work so didn’t get a chance to tell them it had already been picked up for a collab - No worries if not though!
Hi, if it's ok I switch from Superman to Sugar Pills.
that was fast! sounds great to me - feel free to post
yes, please do! it’s fawm
Thank you for reading. I am still deciding if I want to waste more ?good melodies on sad songs. But they clog up the system so they have to go wait outside until I decide!
Hey Morten! I enjoyed reading your Diesel in the Blood lyrics and was wondering if you might want me to take a swing at putting it to some outlaw country music? Given where we are with FAWM I can't firmly promise I can get it done but I'd be willing to give it a try. If you do want me to do it I would only ask that you not add me as a collaborator and, instead, I would prefer to post it as a new song with us as collaborators so maybe the song will get a little new attention boost by being on the songs page (for a few minutes!) If you already have music in mind or have someone else in mind or prefer not to collab for whatever reason that is just fine too! No pressure in any direction for any reason.
Thank you! And the feeling is mutual.
Thanks for checking out Under! Appreciate the comment!
Hey, thanks for your comment on "Under". I'm happy you enjoyed our song! We're still not done yet. I think that this song sounds much better with real guitars, so I hope I get some fuzz to make a studio ready mix after FAWM.
Thanks for coming by and listening!
Thanks so much for your kind comments on Passing Through! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hi, we're teamed up for random collab, round 3. I'll scan through your lyrics
I did not realize that (I only started in 2016)! OK, come up with something original from your standpoint and I'll see what I can do!
How about a lyric about space exploration for our random collab?
Thanks for your nice comments on my Killer Klowns From Outer Space lyrics. I definitely had fun writing them. Would be good to hear how it could sound as a song!
Realized your email was in your profile, so sent one more message there FYI.
That works, thanks!!
Thanks for your thoughtful comments on "Lip Service." If you're interested in making it come alive musically, I'm happy to sing it. I'm thinking blues.
Thx a lot for comments. 80`s fine. More to come. Inspiration this year.
Thanks again and if you like any of my other lyrics have a go.
A challenge... hmmm... let me think about this a bit and get back to you!
Hi Morten!! I wanted to stop by and tell you how much I appreciated reading your comments on The Meltdown. It's difficult to put into words how much that means to me - Gary
Random collab- hey there that list was a call for all those who did round 1 but hadn't responded - you already had - so you will be in
I done done it again. Better check me out and see if you approve, good sir.
So glad you like it. I had a lot of fun!
Thanks for your comments on my song! It’s funny I always feel like what I write sounds like country even though I rarely listen to country !!! (I do love folk though!)
Either way, but happy to work off of a finished lyric if you'd prefer! I've done collab that way a number of times.
I'll be looking for more collab opportunities in your feed. Feel free to hit me up.
I've posted a collab of your I Love the Thunder. Please let me know if it's OK, or if you'd rather it not be out there.
Thanks for the lyrics.
Hi Morten! I’m interested in putting music to sage on the mountain. Thoughts?
Thanks for giving my "Cosmic Dance" a spin.
BiaB is such a useful tool for a quick demo. The key to using it though is turning some instruments off or replacing the suggested ones with others.
February. Finally!
Thanks for the listen and comment. I appreciate the honest feedback on the panning.
Morten, Let's do the damn thing!
Happy FAWMing!!
Happy FAWM 2022, Morten! Hope you are well, and looking forward to what you bring to the table this year!! :)
