FAWM 2022
Hi everyone! Back again for my 13th.
I’m here, but I definitely won’t get revved up right away, due to a heavy workload during the week. Also, I’ll probably be posting some as lyrics-only, for potential collabs, since my recording opportunities will be limited.
I sure miss doing this full out! Full time work has its pros and cons. February really emphasizes the latter. :P
Happy FAWMing!!

I had "Life is a ghost" open in a tab and tried to comment, but i see it's gone now. For what it's worth, I REALLY liked that one!
Barbara, thank you for your always insightful comments.
You have an amazing way of expressing what you hear!
I don't know how I got the energy and will to write this song from my hospital bed, but, hey, FAWM was starting.
Thank you for your kind interest, here is our updated demo: https://fawm.org/songs/133977/
Good morning Barbara! Thank you for listening to into the world into the well and leaving your comments. Really really appreciate input from FAWM veterans like yourself like yourself…
Just sent you an email with a link to what I recorded for Give it to Me Straight. :-) Happy Wednesday!
:-)
Hi Barbara, thanks for the welcome and your super kind comments on my lyrics.
I've already composed a melody for it that satisfies the 1 note melody challenge, so there's that as a fall back position. Just in case, you know. :)
Hi Barbara
Finally getting energy to listen attentively.
Glad to see you are here!
We do what we can!
xo
That interpretation also makes sense and paints things totally different. Well done!
Oh my brain was incorrect. I meant the F*cked Up song "Torch to Light." It features some female spoken word. Sorry about that!
Thank you, but no. If someone else gets inspired that’s great, and it’s always fun to see different takes on the same lyrics. I hear you about craziness at work. I’m in the same boat. Sorry to hear your recording opportunities are limited.
Thank you! It may take me a day or two, but I’ll let you know what I come up with. Keep on writing!
Thanks for the note of encouragement, Barbara! We'll see what we get up to. I am struggling with lyrics most of all, so if you post some, I would love to see what I can make them do, if you're up for it. :-)
Was wondering about you. Thanks for the (as usual, wonderful) comment.
Hi there B. I hope to hear some of your ear candy soon.
Barbara! Can't wait to hear what you get up to this year!! :-)
Good to see (in a manner of speaking) your lovely familiar face again. (-:
Hello again!
Hi Barbara, I hope you will be with us this February.... Have a great time!
And you Barbara, such a blast to be hearing you again.
Let's crush this one...

Happy FAWM!
“Making a thing” would make be overjoyed Barbara!
Sister of my musical soul, I have come to encourage your magic once again.
Hello Barbara! I hope you have a lovely FAWM.
YES. Yes, we should.
Hi, Barbara! Great to see you here again. Look forward to your beautiful music!
Oooh yes on the profile pic, you are the only fellow glockenspiel-er on my watchlist. Collab potential if you are interested and snail mail is welcome. However, I am doing my best to not overcommit, for example the Tuesday night FAWM Zooms are a day-of decision for me. On that basis a no-reasons-necessary decline would almost be doing me a favor, or feel free to morph/pirate/re-write one of mine again LOL. Also, I actually have one glockenspiel and multiple xylophones so there is that. So far WFH time has been something I have been able to balance. My schedule is flexible and I already anticipate taking some PTO or I may have brief FAWM dropouts due to work deadlines. I did a writing challenge in November without any drop in productivity but then as so many have told me, 'NaSoAlMo' is no FAWM LOL.
Hi Barbara, I sincerely hope that you have time to play with us this year!
Always glad to see you here.
@barbara welcome back! here we are again! [removes clown shoe and custard pie]
Always up for some new barbara listens! Rock on!
Hey bud
Looking forward to listening to your music!
