Artist Bio
Influences: David Gray, Nick Drake, The Violent Femmes, The Pogues, JJ Cale and all that other wonderful stuff I have listened to over the years.
I live in Northern BC and I have been playing the guitar for about sixteen years now; writing songs for a little less.
I released a CD a few years ago: "Courage Before Comfort". The CD comprises just me and a guitar, for the most part with friends on a few songs playing guitar, accordion and singing. While there are decidedly auto-biographical references on the album it deals with aspects of connection to place, loss and, of course, relationships and in these ways encompasses universal themes.
The world is a crazy, absurd, glorious place and I look forward to continue to reflect it in my songs this February, and into he future.
