Now it is almost two years that I am the proud dad of a wonderful young boy... Although personally this being one of the best things that could happen in my life, I am not sure how deep the impact of this fact and of my relentless job will be on my FAWM-participation this year and in the future as well... Probably it will be less intense regarding time and "productivity"... maybe also some kind of different in some ways... however, I am sure it will be a wonderful experience as it has always been so far...
This having been said, I really look very, very forward to being a part of this lovely community here again and to keeping enjoying in all your creativity and positive spirit.
Have a great February!
And as always in the past, too: if anyone likes any set of lyrics and feels inclined to put it to music, I will be very, very, VERY happy about that!
PS: My lyrics are just “rough ideasâ€â€¦ Please, feel free to “work on them†and change them in any way you like to make them fit to your music, if you like… thanks…
Hey, @arthurrossi !! I haven't forgotten. I am working on it this week. I sent you an email. Have another melody going. I'll send it to you tomorrow and you can tell me which one you like better.
No problem, Arthur, it was all very sincerely meant! Well done on such a productive FAWM :)
Thanks so much for listening so closely to Then One Day They’re Gone. My son’s birthday is also in February. It’s pretty cool how much you continue to like the people they keep growing into. I’m so amazed at all the different languages you write in. I’d love to try something in French or Italian or Spanish sometime.
sei il mio nuovo migliore amico! Thanks for listening to my song "tomato and mozzarella" and for the comment. It meant a lot. Mille grazie e buon appetito!
Wow, Arthur! Congrats on 81 songs!!!! I'm so happy that you're back in the game. Yes, I've been out of the game again. Poverty and a terrible survival race to find people to give me money for my services don't make life easier. But there's hope on the horizon. Chances are everything's gonna be better soon.

Thank you for your comments!
Arthur - I wanted to say again what a delight it was to sing your beautiful lyrics for In meinen Gedanken reise ich noch zu Dir. I feel like it just opened up the whole FAWM experience for me. Thank you.
I'd love to do more collaborating next year.
I remembered about your still new little boy, and thought you might enjoy this song that @emkaydeebee created from lyrics of mine: https://fawm.org/songs/135327/ It's called (Then One Day They're) Gone which also feels a little like a title about the end of FAWM...
thanks for your comment on Traffic Light Blues!
Calling Arthur. Its up!!!!!
fantastic Arthur. It should be ready for sure in the next two hours. If you like you can email me some linear notes so i can put them on straight away when i post the song. I just don't want anyone listening to it without reading your notes about the song if that makes sense whilst also wanting to get it up as soon as its finished. Feel free to email me them at [email protected] if you like
its coming Arthur. And shall be finshied today. Sorry i have been so overloaded its taken so long to get around to yugoslavia. I could spend hours and hours layering this one as it feels so much emotion. I am teaching at 3-7 so i could put rough something up before then but i'd quite like to spend abit more time on it when back from teaching if poss. Anyway i'll let you know as soon as its ready to post as i really think you need to put your back story to the linear notes that you described to me on my soundboard. It really is such a touching story. Cheers Karl
"I would like to thank you sooooo much for your fantastic and that kind comment on "Good and bad girls"! I am very happy about what Klaus did here and how the song turned out... Thanks so much for your kind words..."
- You are most welcome, Arthur :) Well deserved praise!
Channeling anger and injustice into a constructive outlet is the power of the pen my new friend!! Fawm is a lovely place for us all to work thru this together. Watchlisted you back for next year. Thanks again for all of your kind comments.
Thanks again Arthur, I am really glad you are enjoying 'Darling please call me back' so much, I'd love to have a go at some of your other lyrics, I had a slow start this FAWM but I might copy some of your lyrics to collaborate on after FAWM if that's ok?
It is an absolute pleasure. So glad you liked it
Hi Arthur, I'm so glad you liked the music for your song 'Darling Please Call me Back'! I have posted it now on Bandcamp and just figured out how to link it. It was a pleasure working with your words, thank you!
Everyone should feel heard. Putin's enablers are as rotten as he is. I feel you...it's strange times we are in. I hope music and writing lyrics continues to be a good outlet for you, Arthur!!
Thanks for your kind words on "Outside". I'll be doing a recording of our collab and get it wrapped up and posted.
Hi Arthur, please check your junk mail for a rough version of Darling Please Call Me Back. Hope you like it!
I read your thoughtful comments. I hear you. I feel you. My Ukrainian colleague and friend feels the same. She is heartbroken by the corruption within her own country and the weaknesses that led to it's current situation with Russia. The innocent people of Ukraine are the ones who suffer. Critical thinkers will piece together bits of truth from the associated press considering there is no such thing as free journalism in my country (USA) anymore. It's all bent. I could go on and on about the first amendment, but money talks here. Thank you for your honesty. I hope you've had a lovely FAWM. Your lyrics in multiple languages have inspired me. I hope we can collab someday.
Thank you for your beautiful comment on When You Go Away sorry for the late reply.
I'm tired. It's been a nice FAWM though. Thanks for your lyrics. I am impressed by your ability to write in so many languages. And I have learnt some Italian this month.
Wonderful Arthur . Will give it a bash
So glad you like Walking down the Line!
Thanks for the listen and comment on 'Burnt Orchid'!
Just posted "Walking Down the Line" Hope you like it:

Wow thanks for your kind words on "How are you"! It means a lot to me when a song is called a classic. It's something timeless, wonderful. But maybe it is because everybody can relate to this topic.
Thanks for your kind words about our collaboration on "How Are You?"
I have to say, you may very well be the most prolific artist on the site this year! So impressive!
Thank you Arthur! I appreciate the listen and look. Impressive collection above.
Hi Arthur! Thank you for all the kind comments on my collabs! I’m going to read through your lyrics in March :)
You’re welcome! You wrote a wonderful set of lyrics and it was an honor to work with you.
Hello Arthur. Thank you for taking the time to listen and then comment on 'Look Closer'. I appreciate your feedback.
Thanks so much for your comments on coffee shop rom com :)
Thanks for your appreciation to my song. <3
Thank you for the lovely comment on Green Fields. Some bovine humour, but still I can relate as I get older.
Am going to work on the song tonight matey. May not be finished but just keeping you updated
My goodness! Well, I don't think having had your baby boy has hindered your output at all! In fact you may be even more inspired these days. Congratulations on your amazing volume of work and your beautiful child!
Thank you for taking a listen to Are You Listening, my invocation piece. I'm very glad you enjoyed hearing it.. Cheers!
Hello, Mr. Prolific! Thanks so much for your generous comments on Before It Too Must Go.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving the kind comment on "Together", Arthur. Please remind me if I forget about "Legacy". :)
Thanks so much for what you said about There are Some Evil Bastards in This World...much appreciated...
Thanks for your kind comments on my Die or Thrive song! That tune is very personal for me, written for someone I dearly love, so was so interesting to hear how others perceive it! Thanks again. Your comments meant a lot to me.
Hey Arthur, thank you so much for the listens and comments! 68…. You’re on FIRE!!
Cheers loads arthur and don’t worry “Yugoslavia “ will be done soon
Thanks so much Arthur for your comment on Kindness!!
Thank you for listening and commenting with a very kind comment.
Thank you very much for your extraordinarily kind comments about my song, "Grieving". I am quite touched by your words and, in seeing your Soundboard, I'm stunned by how prolific you are as a writer.
So glad you liked Back in the Day, msn you’ve been productive, will bookmark for a good listen tomorrow. Thanks for the kind words.
Pleasure is mine. Inspiring works. Wish I was able to turn out more these days. Used to just hammer out strange chord progressions into something, in quantity! Was awful 99% of the time, but there was volume. LOL Will fall well short of the target 14 for FAWM, but would still like to turn out 1 or 2 more before EOM :-)
Thanks for the listen and comment on 'The Perfect Take'.
Thank you for your kind comments!
thank you for your comments on Bury Me, the dominant irony is that none of these woen will have any interest in at tending his funeralm and the women he says he will not recognize he would surely recognize, but they would not recognize hiim.
Thanks for the lovely feedback on Just an Ant!
I wish we mastered the Neapolitan language. My ear likes it. Alas, for my part I don't see myself even trying it in the foreseeable future.
Thanks for listening to Seventeen and I Love Paul. I really appreciate your comments!
Hi Arthur, I posted the demo and emailed you the link, mp3, and adjusted lyrics for It's a Long Way from Kentucky to Santa Fe. What a fun project!! Thanks!
Thanks for the kind comments on Ten Times a Day. We are really happy with how it worked out.
Thanks for the kind comments Arthur.
I'm falling behind. Now where's that CAVE: ITALIAN... :P
Hi Arthur, thanks for the kind words earlier. I'm grabbin' "It's a Long Way from Kentucky to Santa Fe" to put to music if that is still up for grabs. Thanks!
Hey Arthur - no FAWM this year. Just had covid and my brain is feeling pretty mashed. FAWM just feels adding pressure to myself rather than fun this time.
I'll be back with bells on next year.
i'm so glad you like how it came out! i sent you an email with the file and then after that realized how to make it downloadable from my soundcloud account :)
My pleasure buddy. I hope life’s treating you well.
That sounds great, Arthur. I'd love it if you decide to post the track on your original post. I have a feeling more German speakers will stumble across it there than in mine...
And I am now always up for having a go at a German song. Thanks for the introduction.
Thank you. I'm so glad you like it. I made the MP3 downloadable on SoundCloud. Here it is: https://soundcloud.com/nancy-cunningham-2/fawm-in-meinen-gedanken-with-arthur-rossi
My email is [email protected] in case you ever need it. I don't get to speak German very often these days, though my daughter just started taking it in high school, and she lets me chat with her.
Thanks so much for your generous and detailed response to
In Meinen Gedanken
I'll plan to clean up the grammar in the first two verses and block out the rest of the lyric as well.
Could you also say
Hier in meinen Gedanken, hier sind keinen Schranken
or
Hier in meinen Gedanken, hier gibt's keinen Schranken
?
Thanks for the listen and comment on my week 1 challenge song!
Hi, Arthur -
I recorded a rough version of your song
In meinen Gedanken . . .
It's here: https://fawm.org/songs/130054/
I tagged it as a collaboration with you.
It's my first year, and I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to work, or if I'm supposed to talk to you first. So let me know if I should retag, revisit, destroy, etc.....
Hi Arthur, I've been working on music for 'Darling, please call me back.' Hopefully I can send you it via e mail soon. Lovely lyrics! You've been SO productive!
Arthur, I will get you a proper, clean recording of Blue Moon Nights in the next couple of days. Thank you so much for your kind words.
My version of Blue Moon nights has been posted.
Hi Arthur. Nice to see you here. Thanks for stopping in on my song. I see you are as prolific as ever!
Hi Arthur. Will do on letting you know. Hoping to have a mental break and clear head space this weekend :-)
Here is This Could be Forever https://soundcloud.com/joannecoopersa/this-could-be-foreverwav
Hi Arthur. I have something for This could b forever. Please add me as collaborator. Thanks
sleep... (is overrated!) https://youtu.be/OyZxoTvdsKo
Hey matey, is there a way you can remove me as collaborator. Don't worry its 100 percent happening. Its just my self pressure i suffer with a wee bit with expectations. Its nonsense i know but i feel it a bit with potential for people reading the words and saying they can't wait to hear what i'm going to do with it!!! yep i am still full of a rather a lot of self doubt with my music. at times
Jungejunge, bist du produktiv! Wow und respekt! :-D
It was a pleasure to comment on your beautiful lyric, Arthur. Congratulations with winning!
Oh my goodness arthur i think i've got a tune. only fiddling around with it at the moment. I had a piano melody with chords and me la la laing that i forgot about and it popped up almost straight after we wrote and i thought hmmm i'll see if i can work things here. It almost works and changed a few things melodically but i was wondering with the chorus. Would you mind if the first chorus i only sang the first stanza, then at the end i can sing the second part as well. Its just that musically it only really works singing part 1 of the chorus first time round
Well, it's available. My voice really should not be that low, sorry. Tried transposing the melody or changing it, but this ended up being the one I liked best. Yup
Thank you so much for your comments on my Welsh song, much appreciated!
Oh my arthur its meant to be. I was literally reading that this morning , the yugoslavia song i mean and it rang bells with me and again it was so beautiful and heartfelt i thought i'd love to try and put something to that . So its no strain at all. I would consider that an honour and its the sort of challenge i really love for FAWM. And thank you for the full back story, as that makes it even more incentivising.
Thanks for your comment on Dust. I'm glad you enjoyed! I use plenty of near rhymes ... maybe its because I don't know it better lol
Thank you so much for coming to have a listen, and your lovely comment - I'm in awe that you've already won twice over! You're on fire!
Hey arthur. Yes its a really beautiful melodic piece of music. I had a look last night though and am struggling a little bit to see how i can work it . so couple of queries. Is there are a thought of where the verse or chorus or even pre chorus may come? Is there the potential for me to create a different musical direction maybe for the chorus and throw it back then? I am intrigued still but don't want to go treading my huge feet all over wonderful other musical toes ;-)
Thank you for the kind comment, Arthur! I’m a little too pleased with myself for getting a Rod Stewart comparison :D
Now it is there! "The last bullet for the end. !"
@arthurrossi Hey! That's great. I have a couple of tracks/ideas. Do I just upload them in my FAWM, or is there another way to share them with you? This is my first year in FAWM so I'm new to how all this works.
I agree with you about Venice! Very magical city. Can’t wait to visit it again.
Wow, you already crossed the finish line. Congratulations! LOL
Arthur! welcome back and glad you are enjoying being a Dad! my little guy is 18 now.. so I wholeheartedly wish you all of the joy of these moments!
Ha! I've already commented (and been hugely impressed) by @levesinet's version of One-way-street but if there's yet another version on the way then I'll post mine shortly! You'll be able to run a comparison experiment of styles! :D
hey matey. Fantastic and yes more than happy to give me vocals to it. Keep me posted.
Hey Arthur. I'd very much love to be a collaborator and write music for these lyrics. I will try to find someone willing to sing, and you be on the lookout too. If we succeed, then you can add me as a collaborator. :)
Danke Arthur
Happy FAWM, may it be another good one!
Hi Arthur. A very happy FAWM to you sir! Looking forward to seeing what it brings us :)
Youre here again! Congrats with family! and i need lyrics by the way...
Hi Arthur. Glad to see you here and thanks for the message. Have a wonderful Fawm.
"Benvenutti" a casa, Arthur!
Felicitats pel "bambino!"
