  Oh man, that struggle with some sounds is real right now. It probably has more to do with me adjusting to my new room, interface, plugins, etc....One of my problems is that my monitors sound completely different now, so it's like getting different ones. But, last night I realized that the height of my bigger monitors was about 3 inches too low, so tons of the sonic information was hitting my neck and chest instead of my ears directly....I felt really dumb. On that song, I just recorded with the wrong mic and it screwed me up. really, the guitar track doesn't have any information below about 250hz, so you can imagine the challenge--as you have such full sounding guitars every song regardless of style.
  What is your mixing problem?
