Honestly though we just like making cool music that we hope people enjoy.
We have been posting previous year's FAWM albums on our bandcamp page for free download. (aeye.bandcamp.com) We also will have some of them available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music etc.
A quick recap of last year:
The Explorers chased Gentleman Greene to Tomi. The planet Sibir equivalent of las vegas. He just escaped their grasp and made off with important information about the location of 6 totems (fuel cells). What is he planning? What do they power? How does it all end? Tune in this year to find out :)
Heehee... they should seriously have a reward for recommendations You'd be swimming in more plugins by now!!!
Hey there! Thanks for the listen.... WOW, you have been busy! I need to get back in there and do some listening. Actually, it is a perfect day for your styles of music.
Thanks for your comment on "Elephant cemetery"! I'm using this plugin for the guitar, it's free and really amazing: https://mourednik.github.io/argotlunar/
aaah I've been listening to your stuff and enjoying your story/adventure! they're amazing
thank you so much for your praise on Strangers with Memories, comment on Finding Blue Garden (I love that you pointed out Thomas Newman lol Finding Nemo was my no.1 song most played in song Spotify last year without me realizing.. so peaceful), feedback on the lyrics for Glass Flowers, and your reaction to Choose a Character! I love that it made you think of a castle town in a fantasy RPG/mana game! I was going for that
Aaaand I've bought Super Audio Cart! lol
Geez thank goodness for payment plans! Haven't gotten a chance to mess with it as I'm working, but cannot wait to see what it has to offer.
May tap you on the shoulder to pick your brain at some point about it lol
The organ's the Korg M3's "French Big Pipe" program. It's insanely over the top—real grand guignol stuff—but it beds in nicely to a dense prog track like that.
I'm really impressed by your output quantity and production quality! Very inspiring!
Baltimore? A while back (15 years or so) I was in Baltimore Songwriters Assoc. and played for a while with Paul I, Nita, and others. Anyway, enjoy your FAWMing!
Thanks for your comments on my songs! I really appreciate your listening give the many options that are out there!
Thanks for the comment! Happy FAWM to you as well! :)
hey re: the vocal samples on Brenda From 227 - the "ooh ooh", "making me go crazy", and "tell me" vox were from Arcade vst by Output, which is part of the Kontakt/Native Instruments stuff. I also used their Glaze and Exhale vsts for some of the vocal-like instruments to play the melodies and chords.
Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for your comment on Winter Still. I used GarageBand entirely on it! I worked it out on the ukulele first, and then just transferred it to MIDI instruments. Again, a stretch for me.
Hello, thank you for your Cobweb comment! "Dew" was actually the first provisory title. Nice to see that it survived the name shift. :-)
Thank you for the comment.
Should I comment on this being the end of the Explorers saga? I suppose I could. This is it. This is the end of the story for the Explorers. We've pumped out six installments and each one has been better than the last, in my opinion.
So next year we start with a new universe. A new story. New characters. No title yet, but I hope that next year you'll enjoy meeting the members of the Policemen's Lodge.
Thanks for the greeting, looking forward to more of the Explorers story!
A team unite! We're going to have a killer year, I'm feeling it!
Hope you have a great FAWM as well!
You too! Happy magic making!
Happy FAWMing to you as well!
