"Hey there, I've not done much collaborating before. In the middle of attempting a write with someone at the min so I guess I'll see how it goes and get in touch if I'm up for more!"

    - Yep, sounds good. If not this time around there always other FAWMs to come :) Good luck with your current write!

Hi Melanie, how do you fancy doing a collab?
If you have something in the works I'd love to have a go at the production side for you, or perhaps we could write something afresh?
    What do you think?
Wishing you a groovy weekend :)

  • @pumpkinhead Feb 2022

Loved your haiku challenge. Remind me post-FAWM to tell you how the libretto for the opera Ngurunderi was written...(Music existed, words had to fit)

  • @bandybum Feb 2022

Really loving your vocals (reminds me of The Sundays) and guitar combos. Hauntingly beautiful pieces, lovingly crafted with gorgeous chord moves.
    What a fantastic debut!
    Welcome to planet FAWM :)

Thanks for your kind words on Dust in My Eyes..... much appreciated!

Ref The Poplars and wind noises: no, the field recordings (did think about it) have trucks going past, cars accelerating, domestics in the car park etc. The wind is one of the Native Instruments Kore synth sounds, one that they've wiped off! Will no more activate the synth! Fortunately, I haven't upgraded this machine to Win 10. Incidentally, the poplars (and me) are right in the city's CBD.

Adding: introduce yourself on the forums. Two suggestions: this thread: https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12014/
and put a link to one of your bandcamp songs and a brief comment in this thread: https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12145/

Just listening to Gloaming Wood. This is going to be interesting! (Our birds here tend to the raucous rather the tuneful.) Love that guitar. Pump the songs out during FAWM; remember, it's to get the creativity flowing unguarded. Cleanup can happen afterwards.

    Welcome, and happy FAWMing!
